As an Associate Pricing Analyst, you will:
Lead large pricing proposals as a trusted partner with account managers and capture teams.
Develop price strategies, competitive assessments, and price-to-win recommendations to increase award opportunities that lead to company growth.
Develop cost models and narratives in response to requests for proposals for a range of customers and contract types.
Lead pricing reviews and present financials to all levels of management.
Collaborate with all business functions (Contracts, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, Business Development, etc.) for cost estimates and to ensure compliance and competitive pricing.
Ensure the timely generation of multiple pricing submissions often within tight proposal schedules – strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible are key.
Ensure compliance with internal estimating system, disclosure statement, proposal requirements and Government regulations.
Prepare files for audit and support audit requirements.
Engage with team members on collaboration, knowledge sharing and reviews, supporting junior and mid-levels as may be needed.
Remote position, ideally with ability to work in our Chantilly, VA office as may be needed for proposals and periodic meetings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
11-12 years of relevant pricing experience in Government contracting in leading large proposals and working collaboratively in solving problems and identifying solutions.
Experienced creating competitive analysis and price-to-win assessments.
Experienced advising senior management on price strategy, Government contracting regulations (FAR, DFAR, CAS, etc.) and proposal financials.
Experienced with the application and limitations of contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP, etc.)
Proficient in MS Office Excel for developing models and using advanced formulas.
Strong organizational, verbal, written, and analytical skills at a senior pricing level.
Personal drive for teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $130,000- $165,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. AMERICAN SYSTEMS provides for the welfare of its employees and their dependents through a comprehensive benefits program by offering healthcare benefits, paid leave, retirement plans (including ESOP and 401k), insurance programs, and education and training assistance.
