Summary
RNDC is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable demand planner to join our growing team. The Demand Planning position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with suppliers, products, and customers. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for products, cleanses demand history, incorporates business intelligence from sales, portfolio managers, and finance. This position coordinates the development of the monthly consensus forecast for their respective suppliers, products, and key customers.
Review demand plans with key stakeholders, sales, finance, PMs (Portfolio Managers), SBD (Suppler Business Development). Present and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales, PMs, and finance. Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts. Review promotional plans with sales/PMs.
Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, regional leaders, finance, and suppliers. Prepare relevant material to promote discussion and decision making. Facilitate and manage demand planning/supplier meetings.
Maintain demand planning system and software: Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy. Monitor trends in forecast error. Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence. Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process.
What you bring to RNDC
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process; good facilitation skills; 2-3 years of demand planning/forecasting experience.
