Deputy Technical Manager
Key Role:
Serve as a deputy technical manager. Correspond directly with clients and senior leadership. Manage a portfolio of custom developed tools and capabilities. Work with product owners to set priorities and milestones for all project activities and works with each team to translate into user stories for sprint planning. Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a technical manager
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps, and Platforms including application development, migrations, and ongoing maintenance support
Experience with Data Analytics and Visualization
Experience with architectural design for new implementations and recommending best practices
Experience with designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
Experience with data analysis, such as cleaning, filtering, and transforming data, including enriching data, database joins or table lookups
Ability to interact at all levels of an organization
Ability to work independently
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Predictive Analytics
Experience with Jira/Confluence
Experience with graphic art development and support
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
