Pay: $90,000 to $115,000/yr (Depending on experience)

Job Description:
Assist with typing, editing and formatting complex legal documents and correspondence.
File court documents with state and federal courts (electronically/eFiling and via messenger).
Arrange for service of documents, telephone communications with clients and business contacts,
Input attorney time and assist with file/calendar maintenance,
Prepare expense reimbursement forms, process/edit prebills and assist with other administrative support.
Handle detailed proofreading, formatting and editing of pleadings, memoranda, and agreements under time-sensitive deadlines;
Handle conversion of paper and electronic files to PDF format.
Manage heavy court filings including serving pleadings with the court and on opposing and associated counsel, at state, federal, and appellate levels and various venues.
Open new client matter files and organize trial binders/exhibits.
Arrange conference calls and coordinate travel.
Track/confirm litigation deadlines and docketed correctly.
Assist with entering attorney time and maintaining CLE records for attorneys.
Position Requirements:
Must be able to type 85 wpm and have advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge of PowerPoint and NetDocs is preferred.
Experience with timekeeping programs and ability to perform internet research is essential.
High attention to detail with sensitivity to confidential materials.
Excellent communication abilities, and strong transcription, grammar, and organizational skills.
An advanced understanding of court rules to ensure compliance with the assigned judge's Individual Rules is needed.
Current experience with 9th Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court, preferred.
