Position Summary:
Review, analyze, and evaluate the Distribution Operations business procedures. Implement polices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve day to day operations while developing strategies to align with the organization’s goals and customer service expectations. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all shipping locations to monitor productivity, utilization, compliance, and safety.

May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies and procedures. Sometimes requires ability to influence others outside of own job area on Direct and implement the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for the overall distribution operations
Maintain vendor relationships and compliance to all SOPs within the distribution network. Perform numerous site visits to track performance and maintains continuity throughout the overall distribution operation
Monitor monthly costs and expenditures to ensure targets and goals that are established are executed within the company standards. Continuously develop strategies and actions plans to reduce waste and drive efficiencies
Establish measurement metrics and sets performance targets for distribution-related functions that align with company objectives for vendors
Implement data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies.
Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure strategies and processes are aligned with the overall company objectives and directives.
Ensure that all internal distribution centers adhere to the documented company safety standards in conjunction, to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other government regulations.
Position Requirements:
Education: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Supply Chain Operations, Warehouse Operations or similar field of study
Experience: More than 7 years of experience in Logistics, More than 7 years of experience in Warehouse Operations
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with SAP ECC, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
