Job Summary
The Franciscan Spirit and Life (FSL) Administrative Assistant supports the department by managing administrative tasks, thus enabling the department to focus on ministry and the school’s mission effectively. This position acts as the initial point of contact within the department, managing communications, coordinating events, and maintaining essential student service records and schedules. The FSL administrative assistant plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment that upholds the Catholic and Franciscan traditions.

The ideal candidate will:
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and take proactive steps in task management.
Demonstrate superior organizational skills within a high school educational setting.
Ensure confidentiality in parent/students’ experiences.
Exhibits outstanding writing skills with the ability to craft clear and concise correspondence.
Fulfill St. Francis High School’s mission and philosophy in Franciscan tradition.
Possess the knowledge and skills to navigate the tools and technology in an efficient manner.
Skilled at handling multiple tasks simultaneously with a comprehensive understanding of each.

Education and Experience
Required: Some college or an Associate’s degree.
Experience: 1 to less than 3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency to communicate efficiently.
Demonstrated proficiency in technology.
Successful completion of background check and VIRTUS training.

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
