Job Abstract

Prioritizes daily work based on varying business needs. Acquires and shares knowledge of Wine & Beer Department. Partners with store leadership to organize and support product demonstrations and special events. Utilizes product and promotional knowledge to assist customers with buying decisions. Collaborates with team members to complete daily tasks as needed, including scanning, and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and able to work independently to achieve daily tasks. Must be at least 21 years of age to dispense alcohol. Strong knowledge about wines of the world and possess the able to communicate to customers about product selection and appropriate food pairings. Passion for retail with the quality focus, customers service orientation, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Able to work with minimal supervision. Production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing. Able to frequent lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Able to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with the understanding that occasionally business needs will require additional time. Able to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings. Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, hot or cold.
