About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Computer Security Systems Specialist III
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements. Perform complex risk analyses which also include risk assessment.
Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
Support customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
Apply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
May support the 7x24x365 Cyber monitoring center. Government site support.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Basic understanding of computer security principles, concepts, and technologies.
Familiarity with common security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability scanners.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot security-related issues and incidents.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus, but not required.
