In this role, The Security Support Analyst will help drive security compliance across multiple internal business units by analyzing security data for trends, root cause, prevention, and timely resolution. The two greatest responsibilities in this role will be partnering to expedite and complete the research required to close all reported security incidents and communicating lessons learned and as they relate to security needs and procedural enforcement.
Protecting our clients’ personal identifiable information (PII) is of the utmost importance in building and maintaining client satisfaction and trust. With many clients and much complexity and occasion for potential exposure, no two days in this role will be the same. You will be responsible for security management, which will include a thorough analysis and reporting of complex business items related to security issues. You will also be responsible for communicating and delivering precautionary insights to relevant decision makers. Management of security incidents will include maintenance and evaluation of security cases for trending, root cause analysis, prevention management follow-up, and security containment. Maintaining a regular communication and reporting cadence to the Business Units we support will consist of partnering to share opportunities for procedural enforcement and/or changes needed to improve processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Data Security Support Analyst:
- You will start each day reviewing new and current security items and evaluating root cause analysis.
- You will work closely across business units to understand security items and communicate results and improvements to key members of leadership.
- Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working on anything from researching new security items, working on newsletters, or developing training.
- You are always working to analyze the data in front of you for trends that can be addressed.
- You are comfortable working on challenging security items and sensitive subjects with a variety of associates.
A college degree is great but not required. What is more important is having the skills and experience to do the job.
To be successful in this role, you will have 4 years of experience in the same or similar responsibilities.
