Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of complex castings, forgings, and in-process and completed product to verify conformance to requirements.
- Accurately document nonconformances that are found during inspections.
- Accurately record all data as required on records, logs, data sheets, routings, sketches, and reworks.
- Perform first piece inspection to verify that manufacturing process meets blueprint specifications.
- Be able to work from written procedures, operation sketches, blueprints, assembly prints, routings, and reworks.
- Must be able to accurately use a wide variety of complex inspection devices such as plates, comparators, verniers, jo-blocks, snap gages, mics, and electronic indicators.
- Perform necessary mathematical calculations to validate/verify dimensional relationship and accuracy.
- Must have the ability to work an off shift (2nd shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm and/or 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am)
- Must have the ability to pass the Alloy Identity Certification.
- Must have the ability to be certified for the walky stacker and be able to use a hoist.
Minimum Qualifications:
The starting rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) is $33.85 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
