Responsibilities:
- Maintain the quality of the show from opening to closing, ensuring that each performance is consistent and follows the set guidelines predetermined by Scary Farm management
- Maintain the highest quality of the show for our guests by ensuring the venue is set/ready/open each night
- Move or change the location of talent positions (due to the lack of staffing/emergencies, safety) to ensure the same quality of the show for all guests
- Monitoring and keeping a daily schedule for the cast and crew of your venue/area
- Track all scheduling adjustments (overtime, callouts, day off switches, and late/early leave situations)
- Keep detailed notes on the venues/areas productivity and take any corrective actions as deemed necessary
- Notating any issues in performance and reporting them to the correct parties
- Handling any personnel issues with the crew and cast
- Handles issues, employee concerns, guest complaints, special requests, losses, and any other unusual occurrences or situations
- Managing and reporting any guest complaints/concerns/questions
- Notating changes in the operation of cast and crew
- Upholds all policies and demonstrates a commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment
- Providing guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, performing all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements, and reporting all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meeting scheduling availability requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Fulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
- Adhering to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct, including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and another park/division-specific policies and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of leadership experience in an entertainment-driven field, Haunt/Themed Entertainment Industry experience a plus
- Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplined, diverse team.
- Decision-maker with the ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated skills in effective budget and scheduling management.
- Availability to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates that include weekday/weekends nights and holidays.
- Willingness and ability to wear makeup and costumes for extended periods of time in varying California weather conditions and temperatures.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, and DMV
- Ability to provide a record of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
