Job Description

Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer to support the proposal process and lead technical responses of upcoming proposals, RFIs, and White Papers. This position works closely with senior leadership and requires someone who has a broad technical background, well organized, and passionate about delivering winning proposals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop accurate, compelling messaging and high-quality content for proposals.
Meet with Bids & Proposals team, Business Development, Capture, and Operations staff to review RFPs and determine requirements to develop compliant, customized proposals.
Coordinate with Proposal Manager and leadership team to develop a compliant outline for assigned proposal sections.
Provide end-to-end writing support for assigned proposal section or volume in response to solicitations to ensure delivery of a well-written, compelling, and compliant response.
Participate in win-theme strategy development and refinement.
Ensure incorporation of strategic themes as well as compliance with proposal requirements and RFP requirements.
Work with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve content development processes.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the proposal team regarding processes, tools, and templates.

Qualifications

Required

Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree (may forego degree for strong proposal writing experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the proposal development/response environment
Experience within the cleared government contracting environment
Demonstrated experience writing competitive and winning proposals
Strong experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Technical writing experience in a few of the following domains:

System engineering, Cloud computing, Cyber security, Data science and analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Application development, Network operations, Secure communications, DevSecOps

Desired

Active TS/SCI clearance or higher
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
Experience working with Solution Architects to refine and/or customize corporate capabilities into Customer focused solutions
