Incumbent will perform duties as an Operating Room Assistant to include: patient care; blood products, specimens, and equipment transport; equipment maintenance, environmental sanitation, restocking supplies, cleaning soiled supplies, storing and distributing anesthesia support materials. Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated professional with: * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job: Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 50lbs. or more, constant (80-90% of the time). * Dexterity to operate equipment. * Communication skills to take direction or instructions. * Ability to articulate with a diverse and multidisciplinary team. * Awareness of potential exposure to injury of hazardous materials. * Knowledge of disinfectants germicides, and sterilants. * Knowledge of infection control, AORN, and AAMI standards related to job functions. * Knowledge of government regulations: JCAHO, OSHA, Waste Management, * High school diploma required. * Hospital Operating Room experience preferred.
