Responsibilities
Picks up and delivers vehicles for both Sales and Service departments.
Loads and unloads vehicles on flatbed/tow truck.
Arrives to scheduled appointments on a timely manner and maintains communication with guests regarding any changes to scheduled time.
Maintains constant communication with the dispatcher on schedule and appointments.
Inspects and maintains flat bed/tow truck vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
Performs emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.
Obeys traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.
Must follow all company safety policies and practices.
Assists the service department, as needed
Operated all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one (1) year experience with driving a tow truck desired.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it; pay attention to detail; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
