About the Role
We are looking for a Manager of Talent & Leadership Development to help us build the future of learning at Universal Studios Hollywood. This leadership role requires deep subject matter expertise across professional and leadership development to create and scale brand-new development opportunities across all Team Member populations. You’ll need end-to-end L&D experience including identifying organizational needs, building, and launching company-wide programs, facilitation, strong written and verbal communication skills, and stakeholder management.

At The Core of This Role, You Will:
Connect with stakeholders to understand skill gaps and conduct comprehensive learning needs assessments to identify core competencies and capabilities.
Drive the vision and strategy for leadership and professional development.
Gain a deep understanding of the USH business and Team Member population, balancing best practices and pragmatism to build processes and practices that align with USH’s culture.
Coach and develop the team and provide feedback on programs and initiatives.
Analysis and problem-solve with a data-driven approach to measuring program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement engaging learning programs aligned to organizational goals and strategy, designed to equip leaders with competencies, knowledge, and skills necessary to effectively lead and drive exceptional performance.
Utilize a range of learning methods such as live instruction, on-demand coursework, e-learning, etc. to satisfy the need of all learning styles.
Continuously update and improve programs based on industry trends, feedback from participants, and other evaluation data/insights.
Facilitate instructor-led programs for Team Members, managers and executives in a way that provides a high-quality learner experience while achieving learning objectives.
Ensure adoption and retention of programs and measure their effectiveness.
Create and implement a clear and viable assessment model to measure results and return on investment in the short term and long term for all programs.
Research, recommend, and manage external learning vendors to support development at all levels.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in related field and 5+ years in Talent Development, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, HR or related fields.
Experience with HR analytics and reporting, with introductory knowledge of visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and other business-related data analysis strategies.
Proven experience building scalable, global onboarding programs for various audiences.
End-to-end program management skills from needs assessment, design, development, and facilitation.
Influential at all levels, with strong stakeholder management and experience partnering with different parts of the HR team and departments.
You have a designer’s eye and have introductory knowledge of publishing/design tools (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign)
You have familiarity with the latest digital tools, such as Articulate Rise, SharePoint, and Campaign Monitor.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
