- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- The position requires 4 years of legal experience, which must include: (1) at least 1 year of entertainment law experience ; and (2) 2 years of corporate transactional law experience at a nationally recognized law firm or company.
- Entertainment law experience must include the following: (a) working in a "show lawyer" capacity on both scripted and unscripted television productions, including documentaries, for a major studio; (b) drafting television-related entertainment agreements, including writer/producer agreements and quitclaim/termination agreements; (c) working on long-form co-production agreements and license agreements for the sale of original content to major streamers; and (d) leading and managing the drafting of a major studio agreement form (e.g. television series license agreement, co-production agreement, producer agreement, or production services agreement form).
- Corporate transactional law experience must include the following: (a) representing public, global companies; (b) drafting and negotiating primary transaction agreements (e.g., asset purchase agreements); and (c) communicating and managing internal legal experts in order to prepare primary transaction agreements.
- Must be authorized to practice law in the State of California (Must be either (1) a member in good standing of the State Bar of California; or (2) MIP registered in-house counsel in California).
This role allows for telecommuting within commuting distance of the office location on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days from home office) as determined by employer.

Salary range: $159,650 - $170,000
