The TelevisaUnivision Client Partnership team seeks a highly experienced and motivated senior business development executive to work closely with targeted companies and their respective agencies. Extensive knowledge of the CPG/Grocery/Retail category and go-to-market strategies are essential. The goal of the position is to help capture TelevisaUnivision’s fair share of advertising spend by delivering strategic solutions supported by TelevisaUnivision’s vast solution capabilities and extensive media portfolio.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, strong storytelling abilities, and the aptness to deliver marketing solutions that will drive growth for our clients and revenue for TelevisaUnivision. As a category specialist, you will develop strategic plans with senior management and help create solutions that yield successful go-to-market activations for clients with trackable ROI.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Drive revenue growth and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals by activating zero-share clients and brands, growing advertising revenue against low-share brands, and maintaining currently active clients/brands.
- Effectively apply Hispanic consumer insights and research resources to build a compelling business case for the target brand
- Engage and work closely with targeted brand managers and C-Suite leaders to help them understand the compelling business case and opportunity of Hispanic consumers
- Assess target brand needs and help build marketing solutions by leveraging TelevisaUnivision’s capabilities and portfolio
- Partner with internal account leads to implement sales solutions
- Communicate extensively with internal stakeholders, including sales leaders
- Develop and service new relationships with key accounts directly and with agencies in partnership with multi-media stakeholders
- Prospect potential new clients and build an active pipeline of accounts
- Drive new business activations and closely steward active accounts to ensure success and renewals.
- Stay on top of industry trends and market intelligence on prospect accounts
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required or a minimum of 10+ years of marketing/sales experience
- Domain expertise with the CPG/Grocery/Retail Industry
- Established strong relationships/connections with decision-makers within the category
- Experience in a sales/business development capacity working directly with high-level decision makers such as CMOs, CGOs, SVPs, and VPs of Marketing, Brand Managers, and advertising agencies
- Strategic planning experience coupled with strategic mindset that can translate data and build compelling business cases
- Experience/comfort with consumer and HCP research and managed care landscape
- Experience working directly with DTC brands
- Experienced at leveraging data and insights to create a compelling business case for a client
- Strong analytical skills and financial knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must bring unique strengths in the areas of strategic thinking and analytical capability coupled with business strategy
- Excellent communication skills including strong presentation and client engagement skills with creative and compelling storytelling abilities
- Must bring exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills to work both as part of a team as well as independently
- Well-organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing to work from an office in New York City, Los Angeles, or Chicago
- Employment/education will be verified
- Must be willing to travel
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
Base pay Range: $200,000 – 300,000+ benefits
