Job Abstract

Under supervision of the Crew Leader or his designee, performs routine manual laboring and limited semi-skilled work in a variety of construction and general maintenance activities.

Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled duties, such as building, street horticultural and park maintenance, refuse collection, street and gutter cleaning, repair and cleaning of water lines, sewer maintenance cleaning of pipes, ditches and catch basins. Occasionally required to drive pick-up truck. Perform other duties as assigned.

May be required to work overtime.

Ability to follow oral instructions. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Special Certifications and Licenses:

May be required to possess a valid driving license with a good driving record.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overtime may be required. 4th of July is required.
