Mechanical Engineer
Location: Solon, Ohio – Open to local hybrid (office 3/remote 2)

Pay Rate – Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience

In this role, experience with electrical mechanical devices would be beneficial as you will need to know how to design parts.
Duties Include:
Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems. Ensures that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process.
Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems.
Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency.
May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
Hands-on experience required:
Design, conceptual building prototypes.
Fabrication assemblies.
Design testing.
Reliability testing.
Writing test protocols.
Writing test reports.
Design history file transfer.
Creating drawings.
Analyzing data.
Root case analysis.
Work Authorization:
