The Associate Contracts Administrator performs a variety of activities in support of FSA's Contracts department. The position is ideal for an accomplished self-starter with a desire of understand government acquisition concepts and grow their knowledge of contracts administration.

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

Assist with administration of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, and financial reporting of prime contract task orders.
Monitor GSA eBuy for potential new business opportunities.
Participate in drafting, submitting, and negotiating task order proposals.
Data entry of key contractual information.
Prepare status reports and brief management on portfolio of contracts.
Exercise judgement in making contractual decisions in the best interest of all key stakeholders.

Minimum Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.

Skills/Qualifications Required

0-2 years of general work experience. An additional 2-4 years of work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of SharePoint a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
