Responsibilities In this role, you will work along side the best in the industry, as you assist the Paint Shop Lead and Journeyman Painter to prepare vehicles for painting and related work. Monday - Friday 5:20 am – 2:00 pm Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED Knowledge of prepping vehicles for final paint, including applying primer coat to vehicles and parts, block sanding, and wet sand process. Must be able of unmask vehicles and parts. Have a thorough understanding of painting vehicles and vehicular parts. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Be willing to engage in other paint shop related activities as required. Capable of following written instructions. Must possess valid drivers license and drive manual and automatic transmissions. The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. Equally as important, as a team member, individual earnings may consider knowledge, skills, abilities, work location and related factors. The current base rate for this position is $28.47/hr. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs.
