VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is looking to add a Registered Veterinary Technician to our well-establishedCardiology team to support our cardiologists further. We are looking for a highly motivated, dependable individual who is proactive and comfortable with multitasking. The ideal candidate would be interested in learning, expanding their skill set, and mentoring others as VCA West Los Angeles is a teaching hospital withexterns, interns, and residents.

Our cardiology team is trained and equipped to handle all kinds of ailments. The team performs advanced procedures including pacemaker implantation, balloon valvuloplasty, and valve repair. Our cardiology team is one of just a handful of locations in the U.S. performing a beating heart mitral valve repair and they pioneered the left atrial decompression procedure. By incorporating advanced knowledge and techniques, our cardiology service can successfully prolong and improve the lives of animals with heart disease. Our specialists don’t just use best practices, they develop them. VCA West Los Angelesspecialty teams include medical Cardiology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, general practice veterinarians, surgery, critical care specialist, zoo medicine, neurology, dentistry, and more specialized professionals who are leaders in their field.

Compensation: $ 26 - 30 per hour based on skills and knowledge base.
