We seek an individual for a part-time biostatistician position in Alzheimer’s related clinical research who will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary, diverse team. The position involves preparing analyses including tables and figures for presentations and publications. Compiling data sets for analyses, including combining some datasets from different sources. Conducting statistical data analysis on datasets using R, SAS, and other statistical or graphics software. Analyses models may include multivariate linear and logistic regressions, mixed-effect models, Cox regression, survival models, and data mining on existing larger databases. The ideal candidate must have relevant, 3 years prior experience, an MS or equivalent experience in statistics/biostatistics or a related field, excellent written communications and organizational skills.
Performs data management and statistical analysis under the direction of Principal Investigators or staff administrators for complex research and/or administrative projects, or to support business operations and/or business strategic decision making. Develops charts and graphs to display results; may assist in writing research papers for publication, business presentations, or preparing statistical reports for management. Oversees maintenance of computer software and hardware. May lead data entry staff, as assigned.
The annual base salary range for this position is $79,956- $79,956. Minimum Field of Expertise: Experience in Biostatistics , Statistics or related field . Experience with SAS, R or STATA.
