A Typical Day
The Senior ServiceNow Systems Engineer / Architect
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Systems Engineer with a strong background in Clear Skye IAM solutions, coupled with expertise in CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and Discovery modules within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM) using Clear Skye, and ensuring seamless integration with CMDB and Discovery functionalities.
The Senior ServiceNow Systems Engineer / Architectwill:
ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and Event Management:
Utilize expertise in CMDB to maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration data.
Manage and optimize the Discovery module to automate the CMDB population.
Management of the Event Management System
Application Portfolio/CSDM experience a huge plus.
CMDB Data Manager for LifeCycle management and retiring/archiving of CIs
Amazon Cloud Services Expertise
Systems Engineering:
Architect and engineer ServiceNow solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
Provide technical leadership in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules.
Integration and Collaboration:
Ensure seamless integration between Clear Skye IAM solutions, CMDB, and Discovery modules.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications.
Clear Skye IAM Implementation:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Clear Skye IAM solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IAM solutions.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices in IAM, CMDB, and Discovery configurations.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Troubleshooting and Support:
Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow-related issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and support.
Work closely with the support team to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and integrations.
Train and mentor team members on ServiceNow best practices.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 4 years field experience
Minimum 4 years of experience as a ServiceNow Systems Engineer
In-depth knowledge of Clear Skye IAM solutions, CMDB, and Discovery modules.
Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, PowersShell, etc.) for ServiceNow customization
Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
