About the Position:
The City of Beverly Hills is looking for a versatile Program Operations Specialist (RPT) to assist with a variety of programs at Greystone Mansion & Gardens: The Doheny Estate.
This position will work with rental events and photography permits at Greystone, including responding to inquiries, offering venue tours, maintaining event files, monitoring deadlines, ensuring site and City policies are followed, and being present at events. The selected candidate will assist with City programs at Greystone, including welcoming visitors, program delivery, and providing tours of the mansion and grounds using accurate historical information. The selected candidate will help oversee events in the theatre, including running basic A/V, sound/lighting, box office, usher, and assisting performers. It will be important to have the ability to work with a wide range of people and demonstrate strong oral and written customer services skills with colleagues, community members, the general public, City staff, Commissioners, and City Councilmembers. The ability to work collaboratively, and a willingness to calmly resolve situations as they arise, is expected. This position requires walking on stairs and uneven surfaces such as slate, doing small set ups such as moving chairs, being mobile for extended periods of time (including standing and walking), and working at a computer.

This position is eligible for health, dental, and retirement benefits as provided by the Municipal Employees Association of Beverly Hills Part-time Unit Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Part-time, temporary, and seasonal workers are at-will employees.
