Job Abstract

Obtains accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from properly identified patients. Identifies phlebotomy difficulties, defines appropriate solutions and coordinates resources. Maintains outstanding relationships with client and clinic staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License Or
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License
• 1 year recent clinical experience as a certified phlebotomist
• 6 months working in a high-volume setting as a certified phlebotomist.
