Golf Pro Shop Attendant

Overview

Position Concept – The Golf Shop attendant acts as a member of the golf staff and will work closely with the Merchandise Manager on a day to day basis. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction for members and guests.

• A commitment to consistently meeting and exceeding the expectations of the position.
• A desire to provide first-class service to member and guests and the ability to "find a way to say yes"
• Experience with customer service position
• The ability to complete job tasks in the most efficient form possible so all members and guests receive the appropriate level of attention
• The desire to be part of a team that strives to improve ourselves, our co-workers, and our club daily.

Experience Required

Private Club experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

• Assisting the Merchandise Manager in folding and creatively displaying merchandise
• Receiving and Checking in Inventory
• Maintain a welcoming and positive attitude to promote a quality golf experience to members and guests and to enrich the work environment for team members.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures in the golf shop
• Answering phones and assisting members in the golf shop

Compensation

• $16-$18 Per Hour. Compensation based on experience.
