About the Team The VIZIO Platform & Content Marketing team is looking for a strategic and creative Manager, Partner Marketing to support VIZIO’s growing owned & operated FREE streaming service, WatchFree+, including hundreds of live channels, dozens of VIZIO curated channels, and thousands of On Demand movies & shows. The Manager will serve as the day-to-day marketing contact for WatchFree+ AVOD and FAST channel partners. Key duties include channel onboarding related to marketing, ongoing asset delivery & asset optimization, sourcing programming priorities, and most importantly developing go-to-market campaigns for notable launches & dedicated tentpoles, as well as custom promotions that grow WF+ active devices, viewership, and brand awareness. They will work alongside Business Development, Programming/Content Operations, Analytics & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Services, and Retail to support the enterprise WatchFree+ Roadmap, tracking cross-functional ‘key beats’ to wrap campaigns around, and aligning on content acquisition pipeline, programming tentpoles, and product performance & reporting. The successful candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, PowerPoint wizard with exceptional internal/external presentation skills, and substantial experience developing go-to-market plans as well unique promotional concepts that drive WatchFree+ KPIs. We are a fast-paced team and looking for someone who has experience in television, media, and OTT landscape, specifically FAST Channels, as well as a proven track record of working with partners, managing a high volume of campaigns, and balancing multiple internal/external stakeholders to drive results. What You Will Do • Serve as day-to-day VIZIO marketing contact, managing marketing relationships with WatchFree+ partners. • Facilitate the marketing onboarding process of new AVOD and FAST channel partners joining WatchFree+ to ensure a successful launch. • Lead/attend recurring meetings with select channels to identify opportunities and noteworthy programming events. • Align with internal teams on the content acquisition pipeline, performance reporting, programming events, asset management, and tentpole planning. • Utilize performance/genre/audience data & cross-functional reporting to inform marketing campaigns & content selection for promotion opportunities. • Work with channel partners to obtain & track their monthly/quarterly programming calendars and marketing assets (via AirTable submission form) to be featured within VIZIO-owned marketing channels such as on-device and off-device placements; SmartCast, VIZIO.com, VIZIO Email, VIZIO Social, and VIZIO in Retail. • Identify custom opportunities with FAST channel & VIZIO Curated channels to drive growth and engagement on WatchFree+. • Develop and execute 360 go-to-market campaigns for select content partner launches, larger scale content initiatives and/or content-focused product features. • Partner with Programming & Content Operations to stay closely dialed into master content calendar capturing WatchFree+ key programming events, tentpoles, channel launches, movie premieres, and sports stunts. • Own and maintain campaign tracking tools in AirTable. • Provide WatchFree+ Partner assets to feature within TV/Audio product videos, Retail, Customer Support, VIZIO.com, email, and social channels. • Route and QC partner assets & campaign tactics to key internal & external stakeholders for feedback and approval. • Regularly report on partner marketing campaigns and provide optimization recommendations. This includes providing partner performance recaps for quarterly business reviews. About You • 5-7+ years of Marketing experience in the entertainment, digital distribution, streaming, and/or connected device verticals. FAST channel and AVOD experience preferred. • Proficient in PowerPoint and strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to all levels, both internally and externally. • Proficiency with Tableau data, reporting, analysis and visualization. • Passion for the consumer streaming experience and strong industry acumen for insights & trends that translate into actionable content marketing plans. • Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills informed by data, with the ability to work independently to identify, prioritize, and articulate WF+ initiatives & results. • Demonstrated experience leading marketing campaigns with 3rd party partners, with proven ability to build and execute go-to-market strategy across internal teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, synthesizing each project goal and objective, and laying out a strategic plan to tackle each one while effectively monitoring progress and key milestones. • ‘White glove’, client facing interpersonal and communication style with external partners. • Motivated, self-starter, always looking to share acquired knowledge with others and actively seeks to apply within own projects. • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly experienced in project management functions. • AirTable experience preferred, but not required. The maximum salary for this position $106,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
