ABOUT THE JOB
Golden State Foods is in search of a Senior Benefits Specialist who is passionate about administering and maintaining company benefits. This role is crucial for acting as a bridge between associates, vendors, and HR, ensuring that our benefits programs are managed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in HR/Benefits management, demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage and oversee the administration of the company's benefits programs, including 401(k) plan audits, ACA reporting, and the annual enrollment process.
Act as a liaison with carriers, benefits consultants, and other external partners to address complex benefits issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and filings related to benefits administration.
Supervise the Corporate Benefits Specialist, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
Engage with corporate and field HR teams to provide support and guidance on benefits-related inquiries and procedures.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field from an accredited university, and/or 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR/Benefits management, including group medical/dental/vision plan administration and retirement/401(k) program administration.
Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and UKG.
