Geospatial Data Manager
Key Role:
Support the maintenance and growth of a Cloud-based, enterprise-scale geospatial data repository, which hosts and serves out a wide variety of geospatial products on multiple networks. Ingest new geospatial data products, troubleshoot problematic data, equalize data holdings across multiple networks, and generally perform varied and complex tasks. Perform periodic testing as part of regular software release cycles. Engage with data providers to facilitate data transfer, evaluate received data, and resolve any identified issues. Engage with users to support data requests, data issues, and other customer needs. Interface with operations and development teams to accomplish all job duties.
Basic Qualifications:??
- Ability to provide attention to detail on complex data sets
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems independently
- Ability to distill complex ideas and issues for senior leaders and non-technical audiences
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience as a Data Architect in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:??
- Experience with geographic information systems, remote sensing, or geospatial data
- Experience with system administration
- Experience with web services and open-source software
- Experience with GIS data warehousing, architecture, and administration
- Knowledge of AWS or Cloud technologies
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
