Position Summary:
The contract recruiter will maintain a short to midterm assignment leading the talent acquisition process and managing full cycle recruitment for professional and skilled trades roles across our manufacturing sites in North America and our Corporate Location. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the recruitment module, job boards, and work as a pivotal liaison between the plant HR Business Partners and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth full cycle recruitment process.
Requirement/Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or relevant field preferred
Experience: three plus years in high volume recruiting required
Experience in a manufacturing setting filling both professional and skilled roles required
Experience in searching passive candidates (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter) required
Plastics manufacturing industry experience required
ADP Recruitment module experience is a plus
Skills: Interview design
Project management skills; ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, and Recruitment Modules
Analytical skills and KPI creation/tracking

- Manages full cycle recruiting process in conjunction within specified hiring departments, including but not limited to the identification of timeline, milestones, deliverables, approvals, candidate sourcing & screening, & interview competencies and assessments.
- Identifies, develops and implements employment and talent acquisition projects for assigned departments consistent with the Americhem’s overall talent acquisition strategy and staffing needs.
- Assists in, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of new and existing employment and talent acquisition programs in alignment with current and future organizational staffing needs.
- Develops a pipeline of experienced and entry level candidates to anticipate future hiring needs. Identifies possible internship, cooperative education, or other training programs to assist in early talent identification.
- Lead or assist in special projects and programming within the Human Resources department (e.g., coordinate talent acquisition operations and maintenance, conduct trainings or presentations, lead new hire orientation).
- Networks with professionals in both public and private sector to enhance talent acquisition opportunities/resources
- Manage the social media strategy and activity, utilizing various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Comprehensively and effectively utilizing the ADP Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source Americhem’ existing candidate database, drive applicant activity, and for overall candidate management.
- Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates, especially in the diversity arenas to strengthen our sourcing approach in this key area.
- Drive the onboarding process of new hires ranging from pre-employment paperwork, training planning, organizational announcements, IT setup requests, etc.

- Adaptability and Flexibility: Given the dynamic nature of manufacturing environments, a contract recruiter must be adaptable and flexible. This entails being able to quickly adjust recruitment strategies in response to changing business priorities, market conditions, or unexpected hiring challenges.
