Job Summary
The OPERATIONS/FACILITITES ASSISTANT serves as a team member with several social service professional and paraprofessional staff ensuring the delivery of quality care for contracted agencies as well as adhering to the mission of St. Joseph Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Operations/Facilities Assistant provides general maintenance support for facilities at various St. Joseph Center sites.
Essential Duties:
Responds to work orders and facility requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Completes minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
Assembles equipment and furnishings and provides assistance with the construction of small projects.
Fills in for pick-up and delivery team members.
Loads and unloads items at multiple St. Joseph sites.
Supports security staff as directed.
Assists Security and Operations staff with site-related emergencies.
Provides staff support for special events.
Oversees timely maintenance of agency vehicles and provides minor mechanical repairs when appropriate.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
Must have the ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including clients, community, and other staff.
