St. Rita Catholic Church & School is a faith-filled Catholic community in the city of Sierra Madre with over 175 students. We are conducting a search for an elementary-middle school principal to begin July 1, 2024. The school is looking for a faith-filled leader that will promote missionary discipleship and enable our school to achieve an even higher level of excellence. We have a rich history of providing our students with a strong religious, academic, and social foundation that empowers them to realize their unique God-given talents. Our faculty, staff and engaged parents play a vital role in making our school a close-knit, loving, and supportive family. The principal oversees curriculum development relevant to the 21st century, day to day operations, development planning, marketing and admissions. This leader is expected to be a team builder that will effectively create strong, engaging relationships with the entire community – students, teachers, parents, parish and beyond. Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Practicing Catholic with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a Catholic school, and at least 2 of those 5 in an administration role.
Earned Master’s degree (in Education field), California Credential (teaching and/or administrative) Preference given to candidates with Catechist certification.

Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
