Position: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Los Angeles, CA (3 days onsite)
Pay: $100,000 - $125,000/yr (Depending on experience)
Experience: 7+ years of experience to be part of the Litigation & Trial Practice group.
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; paralegal certificate is highly preferred.

Job Description:
Analyzing incoming data from sources and providing detailed reports to case teams.
Reviewing and outlining depositions, indexes, and summarizing documents.
Performing automated support tasks to prepare, organize, index, develop and manage exhibits, evidence and data relevant to cases.
Using state and federal electronic filing systems/eFiling.
Collecting case materials (evidence, exhibits, motions and subpoenas).
Rendering technical and analytical assistance to support attorney litigation needs, including document review (Relativity), research into case law, drafting of motions and proposed orders and eFiling.
Consulting with attorneys and case teams to establish workflows supporting efficient document reviews.
Assisting litigation teams on legal automation requirements and systems capabilities to facilitate investigatory or litigation decisions, trial preparation and trial presentation.
Analyzing work products and creating document productions using database platforms and performing quality control reviews and revising/improving documents.
Tracking, storing, and organizing data following proper chain of custody protocols.
Tracking data, creating graphs, and completing calculations using Microsoft Excel.
Applying basic knowledge of civil and criminal procedures, court requirements, and district practices to implement applications needed for criminal cases and matters.
Assisting the attorney team in preparation for all procedures of trial.
Position Requirements:
Excellent time management and project management skills are required including the ability to set and manage multiple priorities and make appropriate judgments.
Detail-oriented, excellent oral and written communication and follow-up skills are crucial (spelling, grammar usage, writing skills).
A high level of energy and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is essential, as is the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Self-starter, highly organized, and a team player.
