Job Summary
Provides clinical case management services designed to minimize the impact of mental health concerns or emotional distress on the academic and personal pursuits of students through effective case management and the coordination of care between campus and community resources. Strengthens connections to community providers and provides follow up for students hospitalized for psychiatric reasons. Works collaboratively with Student Affairs Care Managers and Counseling Center staff. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree preferably in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related field. • One (1) year of case management experience. • Licensure as a social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist in Ohio. OR, licensed out of state with eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
Preferred Qualifications
• Independent licensure as a social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist. • Experience and interest in working with diverse clients. • Experience working with a college student population and working in a university/college counseling center. • Experience with short-term therapy and outreach or prevention work. • Experience in crisis response or urgent appointments.
