We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team:
The Senior Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for the entire project, from initial survey through final inspection. The Senior Electrical Engineer serves as the electrical discipline team leader for the project directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate. Typical duties that the Senior Electrical Engineer will be expected to perform will include writing technical reports, performing calculations, power, telemetry, telecommunication circuit and schematic design, research and development, systems integration, testing, hands-on assembly, data gathering (surveys), and PLC programming.
Minimum requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
10+ years of MEP or similar experience
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, or able to obtain within a year
Able to complete project from start to finish without direction
Understanding of single- and three-phase power systems
Strong communications skills, both written and oral
Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance
Desirable skills/experience:
Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) design or hands-on engineering experience
Critical power system designs involving UPSs, generators, transfer switches, and redundant/fault tolerant topologies
Experience with industrial and/or network communications protocols and hardware
General knowledge of control systems, including physical design, PLC/HMI programming, and monitoring/telemetry systems
Competency with common hand and power tools
Experience providing technical training
Project management experience
AutoCAD experience
SKM experience
