Position description
The Neuromodulation and Adult Divisions are launching a search for a full-time Clinical Instructor to participate in the clinical and educational programs of the Divisions. The primary duties for this faculty position in the Neuromodulation Division will include assessment and treatment of patients of the TMS Clinical and Research Service on the Calabasas, Pasadena, and Westwood campuses. Other duties will include teaching of residents and medical students rotating on the Service, writing literature summaries for the monthly PULSE newsletter, and performing clinical and research procedures in the expanding outpatient and inpatient activities of the Division. Training and experience in the use of TMS, Scrambler, and other devices in use in the Neuromodulation Division is required. Experience in analyzing and summarizing scientific literature is preferred. Adult Division responsibilities will vary according to the Division’s needs and the candidate’s interests but potentially include outpatient and hospital based services.
The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications by time of hire:
Must hold an M.D., D.O. equivalent medical degree and be board eligible or certified in Psychiatry; Must possess a valid California Medical License and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate.
