Job Abstract

Develop and deliver engaging and effective upper-level high school English (Level 3 & 4) lessons that meet the needs of students. Create and maintain an inviting and safe classroom environment that fosters learning and encourages student participation. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on academic performance, behavior, and other relevant areas. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other school administration to keep them informed of student progress and any issues that may arise. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English
• Experience: At least three years of experience as a teacher in upper-level English
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in English
• Credential: General Secondary or Single Subject

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
