Job Abstract

The Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives and projects across the organization. They will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards. The Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, technology, business, and operations teams, to ensure project objectives are met.

This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite whenever a business need arises (project based). You must be able to be on site within 48 hours of identifying a need for on-site activities. Please note that there are no reimbursements for travel to "home office" location.

Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.

Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $95,900 - $222,100 annually. The budgeted salary that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the minimum and $140,000 annually.

This is a one year contract. Contract appointments may convert to Career.

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. Master's degree

preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience managing cybersecurity projects, preferably in a large

enterprise environment

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors in cybersecurity

initiatives

• Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex cybersecurity projects with competing

priorities and deadlines

• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, and PCI

• Experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention

systems, antivirus, and identity/access management solutions

• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Clarity, JIRA, Trello, MS Project)
