Sales Supervisor

Location: Torrance

Starting Pay: $18.00 plus commission and bonus*

Pay Range: $16.00-$18.85

*Sales Supervisors receive hourly pay plus commissions and bonus if minimum thresholds are met.

Sales Associates Duties:

Assess Customer Needs
Present Features and Benefits of Products
Establish Rapport with Customers
Lay the Foundation for Return Business

Supervisor Duties: Oversee sales staff and assist with sales process and any needed training:

Ability to perform the same duties of sales associates and maintain acceptable sales numbers.
Conduct Hub and Spoke in managers absence.
Verify all scheduled sales associates are present and notify management of any absences.
Sales staff must check with management before leaving the sales floor.
Review and sign pending sales orders.
Basic understanding of other department operations.
Ability to understand and run daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Able to conduct daily sales meeting.
Training and mentoring new hires/utilizing Jeromes University.
Maintain relationships with manager/lead in all departments.
Ensure sales associates are turning in daily area assignments.
At closing time ensure that all doors are secure, all customers have left the premises, and the alarm is set.

Oversee and maintain a safe working environment:

Make sure aisles are clear (be aware of potential trips and falls).

Oversee and maintain building security:

Do a visual exterior and interior walk through.
Check doors to make sure they are secure.

Know the emergency procedures and where the emergency contact list is located:

Able to fill out any accident report or Workers Compensation paperwork.
Immediately report any injuries to HR and fill out Accident/Workers Compensation paperwork.

Minimum Requirements:

1+ years of Supervisor or Management Experience
