Lead Quality Assurance Specialist

What We're Looking For:

Crystal Stairs is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist for our Quality Assurance Unit. Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Coordinator, the Quality Assurance Lead Specialist is primarily responsible for coordinating the quality assurance review of client and provider files to monitor program compliance. Distribute work among the quality assurance team, perform second level review, recommend process improvements, and assist supervisor with training. Must maintain utmost levels of confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Assist with coordinating the file review process including extracting the various samples and communication the monitoring review criteria.
2. Distributes the quality assurance work among the QA Specialists as directed by supervisor.
3. Assist with reviewing the work of the QA Specialist for accuracy and completeness.
4. Compile and prepare statistical data as needed.
5. Assist with external quality and monitoring reviews for programs (audits).
6. Respond to external complaints or concerns regarding programs.
7. Assist in the resolution of client complaints and inquiries.
8. Conduct quality assurance reviews of client and provider files.
9. Report results of reviews to Supervisor and participate in problem solving work related to areas of concern.
10. Assist supervisor with providing training to new hires.
11. Participate in work groups, committees, and ad hoc groups.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS

Bachelor of Science/Arts degree from an accredited university; related work experience in case management/program compliance may be substituted for college level education.

Minimum of three years of experience working in subsidized childcare or other government-funded social services programs. Prior experience working in quality assurance, compliance, and internal audit preferred.
