ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide customers with operation and maintenance training
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of MiTek machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, and electrical problems and provide timely repairs or replacements as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of equipment, to minimize breakdowns and optimize performance.
- Maintain inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks and initiate orders as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to applicable regulations while performing maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the MiTek-issued vehicle.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and comprehending all MiTek machinery manuals.
- Maintain a high level of availability for travel, up to 75% of the time, to fulfill job requirements.
- Stay well-informed about schedules, proactively arrange travel logistics, and promptly communicate travel plans to customers.
- Engage in comprehensive discussions with customers to thoroughly understand service call requirements prior to initiating any work.
- Promptly complete and submit accurate service call reports and sign-off sheets within 5 business days upon completing each trip.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Preferably in manufacturing/maintenance.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of data entry and Microsoft Office.
- Other Requirements: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and fellow employees. Ability to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Capability to retrieve items from inventory storage as needed. Prior experience using pneumatic hand tools.
