Associate Systems AdministratorPay range: $33.65 - $38.46/hourJob SummaryThe Associate Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of operating systems for workstations and servers. Working under the instruction of the Sr. Network/Systems Administrator, responsibilities include scheduling and performing software installations and upgrades to operating systems and software packages, audits of hardware and software to ensure compliance with organization guidelines, study existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develop new systems to improve production, setting up user accounts on organization's servers, running necessary system backups, providing technical support to end users and troubleshooting problems on local area networks (LAN) and remote locations. The Associate Systems Administrator is responsible for achieving objectives while exhibiting our client's Core Values.
Regular Functions include: - Manages user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Manages the entire lifecycle of computer systems in a Microsoft Windows domain environment.
- Educates and trains new employees in best practices for computers, software, phones, and security.
- Deploys software/operating systems updates to workstations/servers.
- Provides Tier 1-2 desktop, network, and application support: including remote support.
- Supports security initiatives and resolves security issues/incidents.
- Manages Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and SharePoint online.
- Maintains inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- Documents ticket work accurately via the ticketing system.
- Monitors data backups.
- Defines and documents best practices and support procedures.
- Proactively monitors network and application systems and services.
- Performs other duties as required.
Periodic Functions include: - May assist with end user training.
- Serves as a backup within the department when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in IT
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience

• Active Directory experience (Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device management)
• Working knowledge in some or all the following areas preferred:
- Remote Desktop Services (i.e. sessions & configuration management)
- Microsoft Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint Online
- Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016-2022
- Endpoint security in enterprise environment
- Microsoft/Cisco/Fortinet networking (General)
- Software/OS deployment and updates to 100+ Windows systems
- Scripting languages such as DOS and PowerShell
• Dell hardware experience
Licenses and Certifications include:• CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications required to do this job.
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification preferred.
