Digital Electronics Circuit and Unit Hardware Design Engineer: Craft the digital heart of communication satellites, utilizing expertise in digital signal processing, data communication, digital control systems, and embedded systems.
Analog / Power Electronics Bus Unit Hardware Engineer: Drive satellite operations by designing analog circuitry and power electronics for reliable and efficient power supply systems.
Electronics Packaging/Mechanical Products Design: Immerse in satellite product development, exploring mechanical PCB design, electronics packaging, and thermal/structural/vibration analysis.
EMI-Electromagnetics Specialist: Explore EMC/EMI systems and electromagnetic theory, contributing to antenna and RF design within the context of satellite missions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in El Segundo, CA.
This worksite participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9-hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.
Some positions may require up to 20% travel domestically and/or internationally depending on business requirements.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret, or Top Secret SCI Clearance Post-Start is required (based on the position selected for).
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering or Physics
Experience working in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
An active Top Secret /SCI clearance
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Experience working on satellite programs and/or similar aerospace products
Experience in any of the following:
Experience with electronic packaging design and/or analysis
Analog/Power Electronics
EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) or E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects)
Other Helpful Experience & Qualifications:
Experience within aerospace or related industry or with space electronics
Experience with ANSYS analysis, Creo CAD, SolidWorks, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Siemens NX Nastran, MSC Patran, COMSOL Multiphysics
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple disciplines with internal and external customers
Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
Experience leading teams on complex projects

Lead, Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Associate Level: $85,850 - $116,150
Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $104,550 – $141,450
Summary pay range for Lead Level: $126,60 - $171,350
A signing bonus may be available to external candidates who have an active Top Secret or Top-Secret SCI U.S. Security Clearance at the time of application.
