As a resourceful self-starter and leader who shares FINN’s Work Hard-Play Nice values, a Vice President in the Travel Lifestyle practice is passionate about all aspects of travel and will have the opportunity to:
Provide support and counsel to C-suite executives as a trusted advisor.
Be part of a strong, energetic, collaborative, and highly skilled public relations team. Working on iconic global travel accounts including: hotels and resorts, international destinations, luxury products, airlines and cruise lines, and travel related services.
Lead multiple projects including business development efforts, and act as a primary day-to-day manager for A-List globally recognized clients.
In this role you will also be asked to:
Manage day-to-day operations of specific public relations campaigns and programs.
Create public relations strategy documents incorporating earned, owned and paid tactics, goals and pitch angles.
Help develop client marketing content, including media materials, social media content, blog outreach, media pitches, bylines and Q&As
Help to train, manage and supervise account team members.
Secure new business opportunities, participate in new business networking and RFP opportunities.
The ideal candidate:
Has a minimum of 8 years of public relations experience working with clients in the travel, tourism, hospitality, wellness and/or real estate industries.
Is an accomplished leader who has successfully developed and implemented impactful, brand-building programs and digital campaigns.
Has experience successfully driving external programs—media relations, social media, thought leadership—and/or internal corporate communications programs.
Is an exceptional communicator (both verbal and in writing) with proven success in employee and executive communications.
Is a collaborative team player with experience and passion for crafting engaging brand messaging and identifying strategic positioning opportunities, media relations strategy, client planning and execution, special events and partnership programs for clients.
Has the ability to work on multiple client businesses in a fast-paced environment, thriving on tackling new challenges.
Has strong knowledge of and relationships with top-tier media outlets.
Has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications (public relations, journalism, marketing or related field).
Location: This Vice President role can be based in either New York City or Los Angeles but must be able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule requiring two days per week in-person office time.
Compensation: The approved salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on experience and location.
