The Boeing Company is hiring an Experienced Program Financial Analyst to support the Experimental Systems Group (ESG) in Seal Beach, CA or El Segundo, CA.  Relocation assistance is offered based upon candidate eligibility. This position will be supporting a multitude of programs for our government customers in a classified environment. 

ESG supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains, and is an extremely fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies including the world's first fully autonomous reusable spaceplane!

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Earned Value Management

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Developing presentations and presenting financial information to various levels of management

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs

• Initiates analysis of: resource forecasts and/or control account EACs; financial EAC

• Compiles data from several sources and develops performance reports

• Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management

• Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience

• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends

• Develops cases using appropriate indices

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).  This position requires the ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph post start.

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as financial operations, cost management, accounting, estimating, financial planning, contracts, or procurement financial analysis

• 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Experience with Estimates of Completion (EACs), forecasting, resource planning, and cost management systems

• Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations

• Experience leading projects with little direct supervision and drive project to completion

• Experience with financial planning processes and tools

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $85,000 – $115,000
