Job Title: US Retail Account Manager

The US Retail & Licensing team service the merchandise interests of WMX artists, as well as ‘Third Party’ artists and licenses. We live at the crossroads of music and fashion. The team is commercially focused, and you will be working with the Associate Director of US Retail to grow and manage the business, coach and mentor the broader team, and take the business to the next level.
Your role:
No day is the same on this team as we serve a diverse roster of artists and coordinate with a multitude and varied list of retail partners. Due to the small nature of the team, everyone has a voice and the ability to contribute ideas. In a changing landscape, this is an opportunity to learn many aspects of the music industry beyond just the music; an opportunity to touch and feel an artist’s vision; an opportunity to see ideas come to life and the fans appreciation in real time.
Here you’ll get to:
- You will work directly with the Associate Director or US Retail Merchandising Sales to research current music/fashion trends, articles and product ideas in both the physical and digital to support annual retails sales growth
- You will lead real time communication with 10+ accounts/vendors to maintain VIP customer service
- You will be responsible for keeping track of all buyer requests and preferences
- You will be responsible for creating and maintaining sales materials such as pitch presentation decks and look books
- You will be requesting product set ups and communicating regularly from the production team to ensure orders are successfully fulfilled
- You will be responsible for sending product set ups to retailers in a timely manner
- You will manage order approval requests; which includes receiving order requests from buyers and requesting approval from product managers for each order, by retailer, keeping track of approval request history and monitoring/communicating approval completion as well as consolidating and escalating pending approval requests on a weekly basis
- You will periodically submit art requests to the creative team, which will include receiving design requests from buyers, entering design/art requests and revisions, making sure art requests are completed per buyer direction/call outs and communicating/confirming design revisions with buyers
- You will tackle additional sales/administrative support as needed
About you:
- You are passionate about music and fashion – you can find a favorite song or artist in every genre and the outfit to match the vibe!
- You have 2-3 years of customer service, retail sales support and/or account management experience
- You have previous experience managing high volume buyer requests
- You have previous experience in music merchandising or fashion/apparel industry
- You can demonstrate in depth knowledge of retail math and sales
- You have a positive attitude and can demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and strong communication skills
- You have an extremely proactive work ethic and the ability to multi task
- You enjoy problem solving and do not shy away from getting to the bottom of situations in order to reach your goals
- You are a self-starter with a ton of ideas who is excited to share your vision and creativity
- You have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel)

Salary Range
$70,000 to $82,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
