Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Other duties may be assigned. - Understand and agree to abide by the mission of CBU and the CBU Athletics Department.
- Oversee all video and baseball systems including but not limited to practices, games, B-A-T-s, Synergy and TrackMan.
- Coordinate and process baseball specific analytics.
- Oversee academics and standards which include but not limited to grade checks, eligibility reports, meetings, scheduling, ASC, out of class schedule, study hall.
- Coordinate with Admissions on-campus visits and incoming players.
- Coordinate with Housing and Residence Life. Set-up fall housing for incoming recruits and summer for current players.
- Coordinate with coaches and other departments to facilitate player recruiting (visits, etc.) Call coaches on schedules, players, and events. Email database, online research. Create and manage recruiting mail-outs and contracts – ARMS database.
- Organize and arrange all team travel. Adhere to all CBU travel policies which includes room list, travel list, bus/van list, secure transportation, budget and meal money, boxed lunches, coordinate visiting teas and for us on road (call for BP times), set hotels, responsible for credit card reports.
- Organize and account for team equipment. Responsible for purchasing and ordering, travel bag, inventory of team equipment, initial meeting handout and organization, retuning of equipment and storage.
- Ensure compliance and produce related documentation.
- Serve as Facilities liaison. Help with field prep if needed.
- Assist in organization and execution of practice schedules. Responsible for Plyometric- weight room, umpires, Fall-Winter stat coordinator, video coordinator, and scouting – assist in pre/post, CARA, discipline sheet.
- Manage social media sites and coordinate community service events.
- Adhere to all sport, institutional, conference and NCAA by-laws and regulations.
- Attend all Department Compliance Meetings.
- Coordinate with Ticketing Office for team pass lists.
- Coordinate with Fan Engagement/Promotions office on group, youth leagues, and alumni events.
- Assist in all team functions such as team bonding, team outings, BBQ’s, etc.
- Supervise student /grad managers.
