The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day distribution center activities.
What you'll do:
Supervise production processes and workflows
Provide direction and leads distribution center associates
Delegate work accordingly
Ensure production standards and deadlines are met
Assist with the interview and selection process for new associates
Responsible for teaching and training new associates
Conduct performance evaluations and reviews
Implement corrective actions as necessary
Work with management to improve distribution center performance
Troubleshoot issues within the distribution center
Perform safety observations in conjunction with job observations to coach and counsel associates on proper safety procedures
Play an active role in the participation of all safety programs and acts as a role model for all associates
Serve a backup for other floor supervisors as necessary
Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
What you'll bring:
A minimum of 3 years of Distribution Center experience
Equipment certification as needed
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Knowledge of Warehouse Management System
Computer skills, proficiency with Google applications, MS Word & Excel
Leadership and team management skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality
Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
Minimum Starting Rate: $27.75 HourlyUp to: $34.68 Hourly Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
