Job Summary
The Oxnard Union High School District is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of temporary LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LCSW).
This position is grant-funded and is advertised as temporary. Employment is contingent upon the availability and continuation of grant funds. There is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the grant period.
LICENSES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Pupil Personnel Services Credential (required); Valid California Driver’s License (required); Clinical Social Work License Valid in California (required); Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (strongly preferred); Certification in additional therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care. (Preferred)
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (required)
Experience: Experience working with diverse student populations, including students from low-income backgrounds, students with disabilities, and students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds preferred; Experience facilitating psychoeducational groups and workshops for students, parents, and school staff. (Required)
Physical Characteristics: Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift and stand for prolonged periods; see to read fine print; depth perception to file; use hands and fingers to operate office equipment; speak clearly; and hear well enough to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone to be able to perform all tasks.
